Become a Licensed Nail Technician

300 Clock Hours
The Nail Technology program at Paul Mitchell The School Salt Lake City covers everything you need to become a skilled, licensed nail technician. You'll learn manicures, pedicures, gel and acrylic application, nail art, and nail health — all in a professional, hands-on environment. With 300 clock hours of training, you'll be prepared to sit for your Utah Nail Technician license exam and build a career in salons, spas, or your own nail studio.

The Nail Technology program requires 300 clock hours, typically completed in about 3 months full-time.

You'll learn manicures, pedicures, gel polish, acrylic and dip powder application, nail art, nail anatomy, sanitation, and client consultation.

Upon completing the program and passing the Utah State Board exam, you'll earn your Utah Nail Technician License.
